Amberferm Grow is our line of fermentation nutrients. AMF 288 & 289 are yeast extracts with carbohydrate components suitable for the fermentation of dairy cultures.

Yes, both Amberferm Grow 288 and 289 are soluble, however, expect a more turbid appearance in solution.

This technology has been demonstrated to improve packed cell volume yield and acidification activity of dairy strains.

So far, we have tested Lactococcus cremoris, Lactococcus lactis, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, and Streptococcus thermophilus. Our team is happy to discuss collaboration opportunities for additional strains.
